The Tiger Calculator is a pinwheel style machine manufactured in Japan by The Tiger Calculating Machine Co. Ltd. of Osaka. This machine is very similar to those of the European brands such as Original Odhner and Brunsviga.

This piece has an interesting history in that it was captured on the island of Saipan by the US Marine Corp 2nd Armored Amphibian Tank Battalion in June of 1944.
